Display won't turn on

Hello. I have Asus Zenbook laptop. I disassembled it, disconnected display cable, thank assembled back. When I assembled everything back it turned on but display wont turn on. After disconnecting hdd, cmos battery, battery, holding button... it finally turned on. But: after few minutes display started flickering, on low brightness it flickered too when I disconnected AC power cable (only battery) it flickered all the time. So I uninstalled drivers but after restarting laptop display was nearly completely black (like 1% brightness, but not only in windows but in bios loading too). I tryed to reinstall drivers... but nothing help. I went sleep but today when I tryed it again display only flash a bit and than remain completely dark (turned off). So how can i repair it?

Sounds like a possible loose cable, open it up and make sure everything is connected securely, otherwise could be damaged and need replacement.

Allready tryed to move cables, reconnect.... nothing worked.

Could be a dead screen, I would look into buying a new one. Backlight could have died out.

Maybe, but i dont think. Because when I connect it to external monitor it is still not working. I'll try to give it back to the shop (/warrianty is ending in month). I wanted to fix it by myself but it looks like hardware fault (i think gpu or motherboard, or something that prevent it even from booting bios)

With that information I would say you are most likely right, it's probably your GPU. Don't forget to mark this as closed by giving someone top comment *wink wink*

Ah smart, however putting solved doesnt close it, it just stops people who are trying to solve others problems from coming in, people will still come here to get the solution.

I.ve received it from repair shop and they told me that motherbard and ssd were faulty.
