Software that can check for missing/update drivers?

Hey guys!

So I finished my first build! (And yes, it was a success! ) But there's something that I've been wondering about. And those are drivers. I inserted the discs that my hardware came with, and I think I've got them.

But just to be safe, is there some sort of free software I could get that could scan for missing drivers? I'm just kind of paranoid that something will happen to my system if I leave it without all of its drivers for too long.

you could go on the board maker to get the latest one for her and incorporeted chipset with the os you use for the gpu go on the maker link and get them for your os .

there's other driver tools out there.. I've used one of them but others don't think its a good idea.


The correct way is to go to your manufacturing site/ or the motherboard site for those drivers. its just different sites do their drivers differently. some have easy self installers. others only unpack them to a folder and you need to rename the folders each time so you actually know which is which; then you manually install/update drivers by telling your device manager where they are.

What about for AMD?

for amd if you have one of there gpu go directly to site and check for latest one .

no idea if this does the chipset upgrades like the intel tool does.

on the second one you could chose to get the gpu driver then the chipset and install them , this a manual selection sometimes work better then autodetect .
