hello guys i have philips 19inch monitor (60hz). I want to buy new monitor bigger than mine 22-23 inch will i get fps drops ? pc specs : cpu i5-2400 3.1 ghz Gpu gtx 770 2gb ram 8 gb corsair vengeance 1600mhz. i'm playing csgo and pubg often in csgo i got 200-280 fps on low settings and in pubg 40-85 low settings also.

uh no, monitor size doesn't have anything to do with fps

the resolution however, does...
refresh rate will determine how many fps would be displayed in the screen, exceeding fps would only smoothen how the gameplay's feel but not the graphics (u can feel it, but u can't see it)

with CSGO, u can maxout everything and still get 120-150 fps (i got i5-2400 + 1050ti so it's pretty much on par with yours) doing so would also give ur CPU a bit rest as some burden shifted to the GPU instead :)

A 60Hz monitor can only show 60fps. If you change to a new monitor with the same resolution and Hz then it will get Exactly the same fps as before. However, better monitors can give better speeds. Also, you could get a monitor that allows 144Hz so you could get a 144fps.

For your games, save up, and get a 1080p 144Hz monitor.
