SSD for ram?

I've heard of people using USB flash drives as ram, but it doesn't last very long. I was wondering, since SSD's have come a far way, if it'd be possible to use a dedicated SSD for ram. Not replacing but to use along side RAM. The main reason is because i've noticed games are using more ram then they have in the past and ram prices are through the roof outrageous prices.

You're talking about swap. Swap is when RAM contents are written to storage (HD, SSD, USB flash drive) because your system is getting close to running out of memory. What you are suggesting is not a wise thing to do. Just upgrade the RAM.
