I updated Windows 10 and my computer doesn't work anymore

Solution
Go to Settings>Network & Internet>Status>Change connection properties.
Now turn on 'Metered connection'. It should stop forcing you updates, or at least lessen the frequency at which it does.

If the black screen appears after you log in, try rebooting to Safe Mode from the login screen instead of logging in. You do that by holding the shift key while you click Reboot.
If it works in Safe Mode, it's something you've got installed on your PC causing it to hang/freeze/work slowly. You'll have two fun option from there to get it fixed; clean install (I'd recommend this as a time saver) or troubleshoot and find the app/util(s) causing the issue.

I rolled back to the previous version of Windows (I was mid-support chat when you suggested your solution)
