I can go with either ryzen 5 1600 or Ryzen 7 1700

But for GPU im looking at the GTX 1050TI

would either CPU or GPU bottleneck each other in programs like...(In order of importance)

- Photoshop large documents PSB
-----------------------
Music (Currently my PC loads VSTs quite slowly)

- FL Studio
- Kontakt
----------------------
- ZBrush
- Maya ( Mainly for the general UI for sculpt, retopo, rigging , UVs, etc, very little rendering, Im mainly looking to render real time in UE4)
- Substance Painter and Designer
- Marmoset Toolbag
- MARI
- Unreal Engine 4 (For real-time cinematic shorts)
- 3DS Max (Just a little, very little rendering)
---------------------

Heres the build...

I'm gona be honest here, any CPU is going to bottleneck several of those programs. But that's normal.

There is ALWAYS going to be a bottleneck in a system, so what's most important is if you have a "proper" bottleneck, meaning one that is very severe and hampering performance of another component/software significantly.

So to answer your question, buy the Ryzen 7 1700, Photoshop (definitely photoshop) and several of those programs are CPU intensive to the point that the extra cores on the 1700 will make a noticeable difference in speed.

Would the 1050TI help to make sure that the Ryzen 7 1700 will be running at its best in PS and the other CPU intensive programs?

GPU honestly doesn't make a difference in any application you listed apart from 3dsmax (if you enable cuda rendering) & maybe UE4 (which I'm not 100% sure supports cuda acceleration anyway)

The 1600 I'd argue is enough for your uses , of course if you can afford the 1700 its 25% CPU for 30% more money so the choice is yours there.
Honestly think you'll be fine with either.

Honestly in my opinion i'd rather have my GPU bottleneck my CPU, that way at least the GPU will have 100% utilization and not waiting on the CPU like if you paired a 1080 ti with a i3 or Pentium for example.
