Windows 10 Creators update reverted to previous version after successful install

Hello,

So last night I got around to installing the creator's update for Windows 10(Tad late, I know) using the windows update tool. That, as far as I could tell, installed fine and I had no issues for the remainder of the evening.Today my PC reverted to its previous version when I booted it up and this has happened previously before with the anniversary update but after a while that just fixed itself. A search on Google left me unable to find a solution. This is not the update getting stuck and reverting this is it installing fine and then reverting back. Any help would be massively appreciated.

what are specs of PC?

Only reason I can see it doing this is if a driver or some of the hardware isn't compatible though that is just a guess as its certainly odd.

One way to stop it doing this would be a clean install using a USB made using the Windows 10 media creation tool as it can't roll back to what isn't there.
