New build posts, identifies hardware, will load bios and allow settings to be changed and altered, but will not boot to bootable us or cd drive to install Windows. It in instead boot loops a few times then just sits with fans running

The Mobo is a MSI B350m. Any ideas? The board does not have a speaker so no beep codes, but since it makes it to bios fine I'm guessing it's not a post problem.

I already enabled legacy usb support and disabled the boot security features

Solution
is boot method set to UEFI? Default might be auto in which case it looks for legacy or UEFI (this is preferred)

are you choosing the right USB (should be labelled UEFI: (name of flash drive)

you shouldn't have to change anything as default board should boot off USB
