I changed my hdd with an SSD in my laptop and put windows 10 in SSD.
I put the hdd in an external case to plug it in usb to my laptop in order to see my files. The hdd had windows 8.The disk is a SAMSUNG ST1000LM024 (HN-M101MBB/LCP) 1TB.Also tried to change case and cables but I get the same problem.
What should I do in order to see my files in the external disk which had the windows 8?
Did I do anything wrong??? I didnt backed up all my files. Please help me. Thanks in advance.
in the second picture disk1 is unknown and not initialised and doesnt show the size of the disk. Did I lost all my data?
Should I worry? I never dropped the disk.

The fact that your drive is showing 0 capacity makes me suspect it's a hardware failure. Probably the disk was damaged from all the jostling around when it was removed and replaced.

If you need data, I'd suggest you seek out professional recovery services. Don't bother with software as nothing will help when a drive shows 0 capacity.

Let me know where you're located and I can probably recommend a good lab in your country.
