Windows 10
8 bay JBOD with 4TB drives in it
created a stripped volume with 7 drives and got the 8th drive in and it was still empty so I just thought I would go into Disk Management and delete the volume I created and then make a new one with 8 drives like I had with the 7. Well this is where it gets crazy the 7 drives stayed together in one large un-allocated "disk" number that windows wont let me break down to the individual drives. -Formatted it back up to volume and deleted again.
-Formatted it back up to volume and tried shrinking (the shrunken portion stays as the same disk #)
-Went into DISKPART and ran clean on the disk #
Still have one huge 18TB disk that is somehow not breaking down to the physical disks so I'm stumped. Hopefully I am dumb and missed something obvious here.
