Screen flickers when watching movies after getting wet

I split some water on my hp laptop a few days ago I tried to turn it on once after it happened, I know this is the wrong thing to do, the screen went all white I took the Main parts apart and left them for three days to dry it now works fine apart from the screen flickering when I watch videos I was just wondering what this could be? If it is water damage or perhaps just some connection which isnt properly connected

Well your first step would be to check the connections. Otherwise it's probably some sort of water damage to the connections. Had a similar problem when a friend brought me his laptop he spilt water on.
