I accidentally fixed a dead pixel? Can someone explain this to me?

Howdy!

I recently bought an MSI Optix G27C, and it arrived today, I was very giddy.
I played on it for a while, and noticed what appeared to be a dead pixel.

I filled my screen with a white image, then a black one, a red, blue, and green one, and noticed that there was, in fact, a single dead pixel on the bottom left.

I while showing it to my dad, I (accidentally) applied a small amount of pressure to the dead pixel, and when I took my finger off for my dad to look, he said he didn't see it, and when i look, it was indeed gone.

Can someone explain how this happened?

Solution
The pressure of the touch allowed the cell to make contact with the negative or positive plane one of which was not making good contact. It may return to a failed state after a bit. More annoying is a stuck pixel which is one color all the time.
