Windows 10, if that matters. I used ",,,Location > Move on my Users' Library Folders from default C: Users... to D:. The question is, will a "Create Restore Point" of JUST drive C: cover me? (drive protection on D: and others is OFF).
I agree with RARRAF - - I don't even use System Restore - - never have done. I've disabled it on all my PCs to prevent disk-space wastage.
Creating an entire disk image with third-party software is far superior in terms of full system recovery, which is what you really need to be ready for in case of HDD failure or Windows becoming so screwed up it's irrepairable.
I wouldn't dream of being without recent disk images for all the PCs in our family.
