Second Monitor won't turn display an image

Hello all, at the moment i am using 2 AOC i2369vm's. The problem is every time I launch my computer after shutting it down the secondary monitor remains blank and to fix this every time I have to unplug the displayport lead and the replug it. Any help with this problem is much appreciated.

Perhaps a workaround.

Use sleep to ram(not hibernate) instead of powering down.
That puts all of your parts in a very low power state.
The benefit is that sleep/wake takes much less time.
