Hello! I´m really out of my mind with this error...
It happens randombly, but frequently. It looks like it is somehow related with the Hard disks (it tends to happens when there is high HD access). The HDDs and SDDs looks fine at SMART, I´m using Intel Matrix fake RAID (2xSSD@RAID0, 2xHDD@RAID0, 2HDD@RAID1).

I took a snapshot of latest dump with Blue screen View:
https://mega.nz/#F!kFAxCKpT

If anyone can help, I will really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance,

August

Solution
note: the CPU low speed may be the processeor being throttled because of a heat issue. system timer indicated the system was up for 1 second before the bugcheck. check the system fans and computer temps

update the bios or reset it to defaults and reboot
cpu call the bugcheck because of
Error : Internal timer (Proc 1 Bank 4)
most likely from the strange very low clock rate (see below)

mega asking for decryption key...

WHEA errors are called by CPU but not necessarily caused by them.

Often caused by overclocking software so remove any you have - remove any overclocks while you at it.

Can you follow option one here
and then do this step below: Small memory dumps - Have Windows Create a Small Memory Dump (Minidump) on BSOD

that creates a file in c windows/minidump
copy that file to documents
upload the copy from documents to a cloud server and share the link here and someone with right software to read them will help you fix it :)

Thanks for your kind reply. I uploaded the minidump here (with the proper key:))

You are rigtht, it looks CPU related: The mobo was not overclocked, just using the default stock Turbo (4790k), but I disabled it and looks stable now. I really don´t know why it is not even handling the turbo (it is using a better non stock air cooler).

August

I ran the dump file through the debugger and got the following information: https://pste.eu/p/QkI9.html

File: 100317-22312-01.dmp (Oct 2 2017 - 23:35:27)
BugCheck: [WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR (124)]
Probably caused by: GenuineIntel (Process: WmiPrvSE.exe)
Uptime: 0 Day(s), 0 Hour(s), 01 Min(s), and 00 Sec(s)

This can be useful for Colif as it lists the drivers.

If you have more dump files please upload those.

I can't help you with this. Wait for someone else to reply. Good luck.

Thxs again. I'm getting a .NET error when trying to run the tool:

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

Almost everything is in "Auto", except for the multiplier: On Turbo its is set to 44x 100MHz , I decreased it to 40 --> no problems, I increased it today at 42 (fine till now).
With these conditions, stressing the CPU (Prime95), it is not even properly achieving the stock 4Ghz --> 35x100, with the mobo setting CPU @1.0 aprox and memory @1,5-1331 MHz (although are 2133 capable). The multiplier decrease is due to thermal protection, since the CPU is reaching 88ºC when stressed

Might be a cooling issue?.

Thx

is that an underclock or just CPU running at lowest speed? My I5 4690K goes to 800 mhz when its at idle, his CPU isn't that different to mine (okay, apart from hyperthreaded cores)

not sure how John missed ASio.sys is on PC, isn't that normally blamed for WHEA errors? I would remove all Asus software from PC you don't use and see if that helps. AI Suite, PC Probe 2 or GPU Tweak can all contain that file.

Hi, yes, U're right --> 800Mhz is the default "not loaded" state on my system and the mobo changes the multiplier based on the load (up to, 4x, while 44 is the maximum stock turbo speed, and now it is "over -base but under turbo" at 42x). What shouldn't (i guess) be doing is throlling down when loaded.
I have all the latest versions and BIOS from ASUS. I didn´t know about the AsIo.sys-WHEA relation, I'll try to see if that helps-

THANKS A LOT!

I thought the system was just booting and should not have been at an idle speed.
the asus utilities were old, they should be removed or be updated to the current version.

I don't like it when a bios reports
Max Speed 3800MHz
for a processor that runs at 4000MHz
if the bios date was not current I would suspect that the CPU was not supported by the BIOS.
(guess someone just got sloppy with the bios update)
