I have a Dell S2230MXf monitor that I have not used for a while. I've pulled it out of storage this morning to find that I have not kept the power adapter for it (rookie error...).
I want to get a new power adapter so that I can use this monitor again but I am a poor student and the one that came with it is expensive. I think I know enough to buy the correct adapter but having never done so before I would like someone to sanity check my choice.
The manual for the monitor states the adapter as Lite-On PA-1041-0:
Input: 100 VAC to 240 VAC / 50 Hz to 60 Hz +/- 3Hz / 1.2 A (Max)
Output: 12 VDC / 3.33 A

On ebay I have found a universal 12V 4A 60W adapter for £6.49 (free delivery). This is a higher output than the 3.33A from the Lite-On model but I don't think this really matters as long as the connection is correct (5.5mm jack). Am I correct in this or will I blow the monitor?

Thank you
