Hi!
I will upgrade my system, would like to buy something better than current cpu.

Sadly i can not afford completely new PC (Motherboard, CPU, RAM) but it's possible to buy any of the AMD FX-83xx series processor.

The main problem is - all of them looks almost the same as another CPUs form the 83xx family.

I chose 8370 CPU but i think it's just a 8300 with some "factory made overclocking" so it's not worth it and better to buy 8300 then overclock it. Am i right?

Specs of my current hardware:
CPU: AMD FX-4170
M/B: Gigabyte 970A-DS3P
Power supply: Aerocool 675W
RAM: 4+8GB DDR3
Grapics: MSI Radeon 7870
120gb SSD + 1TB HDD

You're right. The 8-core FX processors are all cut from the same silicon. I would get the cheapest one (FX-8300 or FX-8320E) and if you have a decent cooler overclock it to about 4.2Ghz to 4.4 Ghz. Its pretty easy to do and most can reach that speed and your motherboard should be able to handle it if your case has decent ventilation.
