No i haven't considered anything other than Intel as I am most familiar with them. However please enlighten me, am i better to go for ryzen and amd? Please do not start a GPU war though
Ryzen is great at price/performance, but expect a less FPS from them, if u're gaming on a 60hz monitor, the CPU won't matter [which means the ryzen path is better] since the both can achieve them pretty well, if u're targetting 144 or even more perhaps, the intel would be better
Intel build

must be wondering why i put the X instead of normal version, X version, would save u from the hassle of manual OC, since it'll self-OC whenever the situation allows, also it had better base clock and higher boost clock
also, the 6c/12t is more than enough for gaming and streaming (r5 1600 can also achieve better fps than the r7, which is why i recommend it instead of the R7 XD)
if u want to save more money and manual OC though, u can erase the aftermarket cooler and get the normal R5 1600 version instead (it'll come with a stock cooler, which is good enough for stock clock / light OC
)
PS: if u still want the 8c/12t R7 though, u can
, the budget is still there after all
