Ok. So yesterday i bought new config. Geforce 1080, r5 1600 etc. So i clean installed windows 10 and i just can't get my monitor to run on 144mhz. When i go on display properties and advanced settings i don't have option in drop menu to switch to 144mhz likei had in win 8.1 with my old geforce 760. Same dvi-d cable, same monitor, different gpu and different windows.

Any ideas?

Sometimes you need to install a monitor driver. I don't know if it's the case but you can check the manafacturer's page and see if there's a driver. If you want an "easier" way, you can download Driver Easy (just google it), and it will check for you if there's a driver update for your monitor (and the rest of the PC). The free version won't install the driver for you, neither do a System Restore for you, but, even with the free version, it'll let you check AND EVEN DOWNLOAD the driver for you. With the free version, you just have to install it manually, which is not very difficult.

Well i went on Benq official site and downloaded 3 different drivers, tried all 3 and none of those work.

I thought that maybe 1080 card can't provide 144hz through dvi-d cable?

So, small update...

So I was trying to figure it out and just for fun switched my old gpu back (gfx 760) and when i booted windows i COULD switch to 144hz.

So I'm wondering wth is the problem on gfx 1080?

The only difference is that hawk 760 has dvi-i and not dvi-d which gfx 1080 has...
