Hello, I just purchased a asus pg278qr 2k 144hz monitor but I may rma it to Amazon cause 165hz not working. I saw a nice aoc display at 4k 60hz with g sync for the same price so I was thinking of swapping. I got a gtx 1080 ti from asus and I7 6700k. Will the g sync make a good performance at 4k? I don't want low frame like a consolle, I'm not sure, can you help? Thank

I don't have any experience with high refresh rate gaming, but in my opinion at 27" you don't really need more than 1440p anyway, unless you sit really close to the monitor. So you may as well get the high refresh rate 1440p monitor.

Just my two cents.

I would personally MUCH rather have a high refresh rate 1440p monitor than a 60hz 4k monitor. Refresh rate is much more important to me than having a ton of pixels.

What do you mean 165hz does not work? What happens when you set it to 165hz? Did you turn on overclock mode in the monitors menu and set it to 165hz in nvidia control panel?

When I put 165hz trough the screen and then on Nvidia panel I get green screen until I go back to 144hz
