Windows 10 fresh install on NEW SSD and all my games lag now! (HELP)

So I just bought a samsung SSD and installed windows 10 onto it, I downloaded steam and some games to play, and when I went onto the games they were pretty laggy. I played the games a day before with over 100fps and now they were running at 20-30fps, I have been looking for answers and I haven't had any luck, Please help!

Have you installed drivers manually? Motherboard vendors site, nVidia/AMD for GPU drivers? Or did you just let Windows handle it all?

I have tried to update my amd drivers and updated windows and all that, but idk how to find my motherboard drivers. But nothing I have done has worked

Go to the motherboard manufacturers site, find the model, select "drivers". Select your OS and download/install drivers.

If it's an OEM system (Dell, HP etc), navigate to their website, and repeat ^^

TBH I really dont know who made my motherboard or what model it is, do you know a way to find that out?

You can find out using a program like CPU-Z: https://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html

I think you could also find it within DXDiag inside Windows.

Or, you could just physically look at the labelling on the board.
