Hey there!

So 2 days ago my computer crashed. Turned out my PSU died.
Got the new one today and I think it also took out my GPU.

If I start the computer with the usual settings I can't get past the Windows Logo, it will crash most of the times with some artifacts flashing. If I go into safe mode I can actually use my computer but there are artifacts everywhere.

My question is if there are shops/people that could repair that or if all hope is lost and I should get a new one.

The only "repair" you can do on a failing video card is try to do a reflow on the connections by putting it in an over (you can find guides online). Another trick that may help is to underclock the card a bit and see if it runs OK after that.

thanks for your reply!
a baking session is planned with a friend on tuesday, I just hoped there are methods out there I haven't heard of before.

I can't underclock it, since the software can't find the gpu. windows is somewhat disabling it? at least thats what the device manager says. I'll give it a shot again tomorrow though.

thanks again
