you should always get audio out the headphone jacks on your pc, if that's what you mean.

If you mean the audio jack on your computer then yes it will work, the display connection doesn't affect that.

If you mean the audio jack on your monitor, it will work if you go from DVI computer to HDMI display, it will not work if you go from HDMI computer to DVI display.

No, audio will only work from DVI on your PC to HDMI on your display.
