Difficutly deleting old gears of war 4 install

I just did a clean install upgrade to 1709 from 1607. I logged into windows store where I have gears of war 4 purchased. The only option is to install again. Meanwhile my 120gb folder with my old install won't delete. Any way to force delete the old install folder so I can reinstall it? Would be great if I didn't have 120gb of wasted space. Thanks in advance.

I clean installed to my ssd. My two hard drives which have the games went untouched.

just install it on the same drive it is presently installed, it will just update/replace files of the program, not make new folders.

Thanks for the reply. I will give that a try after I've cleared enough space and report back.

I just tried it. It cleared out my game files and I have to redownload but at least I don't have a 120gb undeletable file anymore. Thanks.
