Here's the 411, my friend upgraded from windows 8 to10 on his machine around the time that whole promotion was going on. Lately he's been having some hardware problems unrelated to his OS and hes brought his drives over to me to take a peak at them and see what I can do to fix his issues, but again his OS is unrelated to his issues.

I've been looking through his OS drive (which is only a 128GB SSD) and he seems to have more windows related folders than he should have and I want to get rid of what I can on this drive so he has more space. I'm assuming he doesn't need a lot of this crap since he's never going back to 8 or 7 (and yeah i think there might be some win7 files on here don't ask me why) but I'll ask him before I delete anything, but he should be alright with it.

The problem for me is I don't know that much about windows files and all that, and don't know what folders contain what his computer ACTUALLY needs for his current OS, and which folders are literally useless or doesn't need etc. Additionally the drive pretty much has nothing on it but OS related stuff and its been pretty much filled to the brim for a long time, and to my knowledge windows 10 shouldn't take up more than, like, 30 gigs of space.

Here's a few screenshots of the drive:

let me know if you want more pictures of certain folder(s) and they're contents.

Yes you always want free space on any drives, especially the primary OS. Regular updates to windows and games can eat up space on any type of drive. If you get to 80% it's time to get more space. Just a general rule of thumb varies on drive size.

That's pretty much his #1 priority. Just wanted to do something in the mean time to keep his SSD from overflowing. Just a quick question, to an extent don't SSDs need a little bit of space to move things around kind of like ram? So having it almost completely filled is inadvisable?
