I was trying to factory reset my computer when it died. It made it to 20% before the battery died. Now when I try to boot it up, it just pops up an HP symbol and reboots itself again. How can I fix this?

Go to this link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10ISO

Download the ISO file to a USB and insert that USB into your laptop. When you turn on your computer. It will prompt you to hit either f12, esc, f2, or whatever it asks to enter the BIOS

Find the section dealing with boot order and change the order to boot from your USB drive. Save the changes and restart your PC. Follow the prompts from there to install Windows 10 onto your old (and presumably corrupted) hard drive. This should fix your issue.

If you need better details then use a tutorial from YouTube as there are many on there for this process.

The disk drive may have been corrupted when the power (battery) failed.

What was the reason for the initial factory reset?

Make and model computer? How old? (Actually I think you are working with a laptop but please verify.)

Will your computer/laptop work if connected to wall outlet?

If so, power on and boot into safe mode.
