I'm going to be without my PC for the next week (having PSU problems and i'm getting a replacement). I'm going to be pretty bord in that time and I have an old Xbox 360 lying around back from my console days and was wandering if it's possible at all to get a gpu on it? I plan on installing Linux on it using a hack so that should solve any driver issues, so I only have to get the GPU to physically work with it (I also have an old PSU that should be able to handle the GPU if I just have it plugged into the wall next to it and then that PSU into the GPU to solve power issues). I also have a soldering kit if i need to use it (which i probably will). The CPU might be a massive bottleneck but i should be able to play some indie games on it if this can work :)

Try visiting your local library.

Most have computers that are free to use.

Some libraries, like the ones I work at, actually have gaming computers with battle.net / steam installed on them.

Edit: With decent graphics cards ... ours are Geforce 970s.
