i have bought a new dell Inspiron i5 8 gb ram, last month
and I've been getting this problem for a while now, but its increasing in frequency.
It happens when i use the laptop for long periods of time (3 or 4+ hours), the screen flickers once randomly (sometimes twice recently), and then again after a minute or so, in fact its doing so right now as I'm writing this. its only part of the screen, sometimes at the top and sometimes at the bottom.
CUPID HWMonitor shows gpu temp to be around 40 C.
how serious is this? what can i do about it?
