Windows 10 sound issue optical cable

Hey so my PC started making this weird sound after clean installing windows. Sound system is Logitech Z906 and optical cable from ASUS Maximus VIII HERO motherboard. Windows 10 latest build (1709). I tested, the sound system isnt the issue, as in MacOS ive never had this issue, only windows. In windows im using DTS 5.1 option for sound. Have you installed drivers for your Realtek audio?

Yes i have, but not the latest, as the latest ones will break my surround sound/no dts 5.1 option available. Currently on these (6.0.1.7904)

Have you tried drivers from http://www.realtek.com/

Their driver is newer than Asus

Have you looked for dts options in Windows playback? Most of the things you can do in hd manager can be done in playback devices
