Is there a way to get Google Hangouts under Windows 10?

I really like the Google Hangouts messenger and since I know that google Chrome browser (That I have the Hangouts extension on it) is TRASH (it uses all my battery). Is there a way to get a messenger under windows 10 that can support Google Hangouts?

I saw a google hangouts app on the store but I don't want to spend money for this...
