Hi guys!
I need you to help me decide, please. :)

I'm a graphic designer and a gamer. I want to buy a new monitor, so I had some research and came up with 2 models:
AW3418DW
PG348Q

The AW3418DW sounds much better to me, because of the native 100hz, Dell's warranty, and the deeper curvature. The price doesn't bother me.
The only thing that make the disicion difficult to me, is the colors.
The PG348Q has 100% sRGB (8 bit+FRC) and the AW3418DW has 99% sRGB (8 bit).

So, my question is how much the sRGB percentage are critical.
Will I notice that 1% difference of the colors, or that 1% matters and makes the colors lifeless?

I'd love to hear your answers.

Thanks a lot!

The AW3418DW achieves 108% of the sRGB color gamut.

You can see they achieved a slightly better calibrated dE average on the AW, but pretty minor.

As far as 8 bit vs 10 bit color, that's completely dependent on your content pipeline and needs, either you need 10 bit color or you don't, in which case it the rest doesn't really matter :) Though I'd recommend doing a proper calibration since the AW comes out of the box with a lesser calibration (not necessarily important for a gamer unless one chooses, but for a...

As far as gaming first needs, well I'd say the AW wins hand down

On the AW 100hz Native... Very stable 120hz OC vs 60hz native and not the most stable 100hz OC. Better response times. The AW handily beats it in input lag, getting about half the time, amazingly it actually beats out nearly every other panel, including the smaller faster gaming panels.

I mean both are excellent monitors, without a doubt... it comes down to preference. I held off on the Asus and just bought an AW, loving it so far. I chose other factors in the past vs gaming, such as contrast ratio (so got a VA last time), this time around I wanted to go with the best gaming choice while compromising the least on other factors and the AW really is the perfect monitor for that.
