FPS higher than monitor refresh rate?

i get about 200 fps on dota 2 but my monitor is only 60hz
my question is should i cab my fps in dota 2 to 60 or is it better to keep it uncabed?

I would keep it uncapped by leaving vsync off IF you don't mind tearing on the display when you move left and right on the map. DOTA should not have much tearing anyway.

My preference would be to go with vsync and cap it at 60.

Screen tearing gives me epilepsy (just kidding). I always keep v-sync on.
I can't wait to get a better monitor
