Why does my desktop look like its connected to multiple screens?

Hi, Guys.

Need help. This is hard to explain, so just bear with me. Here is a screenshot of my desktop (or whatever its called).

Well, I can only see the left side. My mouse sometimes runs off to the right side. Its even worse when file explorer runs off. I have to try for an hour to bring it back. To me, it looks like its supposed to be connected to multiple screens but alas, I wouldn't be here if I knew the solution.

Press the Windows key + P and then make sure "PC Screen Only" is chosen.

Looks like your desktop is in Extended Mode for some reason.

make sure your not in tablet mode. go to the video driver control pannel make sure the video size of the monitor is set to it default setting.

Ah, Thanks, man. Saved me from a lot of frustration.

It was set to extended mode.
