The light blue slots with white catches at each end are for DDR3 memory modules, which you probably know anyway.

The dark blue slot is intended for use with PCIe video cards.

The two light blue slots are intended to be used for other PCI cards such as audio or network etc.

The P5G41T-M LX motherboard supports up to a total of 8 GB of DDR3 memory. This can be best achieved by using 2 x 4 GB memory modules from a 2 x 4 GB dual channel kit.
