Upgraded to windows 10 and can't login

Had windows 8.1, ran the upgrade to windows 10 and now when I hit the login screen it says welcome and loops back to login. Is there any fix to this? Can I just fresh install windows 10 and put my windows 8 image on top of that?

Looks like something went wrong with the Win 10 install.

2 options:
Keep trying with finishing the Win 10 install
or
Clean install of your previous Win 8.1. And then maybe try again with the Win 10.

You can't do a clean install of Win 10 at this point, because there is no activated Win 10 for it to see a valid license.

gonna try the windows 10 install again. If not a clean install of 8.1 I can try.



I'm so glad I have multiple backups, clones, and cloud images.

Version 1709? Login bugs everywhere, nvidia driver issues, trackpad issues with Razor and Asus hardware...FCU is a quivering mess still (depending on your hw config)...avoid if possible.
