Can't detect my second monitor

My samsung ls34e790cns monitor isnt detected in device manager and is not connecting through my displayport.
My main monitor is connected to my graphic card Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 through a VGA cable.
Ive updated all the drivers but cant seem to get it to work.

Before I've been able to use three screens but now i only get connection through the VGA cable, the HDMI port to the graphics card seems to be totally wrecked.
Would it possible to connect via the HDMI to the motherboard?

Ok, so I did that but i cant notice a difference and its still not workning. Second monitor just says ''check signal cable'' as before.

I have multiple times, all the cables are in and yet no response

The HDMI port is broken, I only have VGA and DP slots left
