I assume you mean a 1000W car audio amplifier. Look at the amp. It will identify the DC current required. For example this Kenwood 1000W amp -- http://www.kenwood.com/usa/car/amplifiers/kac-5001ps/spec.html requires 36A DC input. You would need a 50A supply and a large capacitor to run it at home.
Running car amplifiers in a home environment is usually impractical. The alternator on a car can output 100A and the battery (used as a storage capacitor) can output 200+A for short periods.
