High RAM/Memory usage (idle)

Hello,

I've been experiencing a high RAM usage in my task manager. While'st idle it's around 35-40% Usage, i have 8GB DDR3 1333Mhz installed. Does anybody know how to fix this?

While you are in task manager, are you able to see what processes are using the memory? You may have programs running in the background that you are unaware of that are eating into that.

Follow the instuctions:
Go to start,
Type in msconfig, press enter,
go to the 'boot' tab,
then press advanced options. make sure the 'maximum memory' is unchecked.

If it already is unchecked, you've got a outdated driver, a virus, heavy background process application or a hardware problem.
