Audio constantly crackling/popping and sync issues

Since a few days ago I began having some really annoying audio issues. It seems that everytime I watch a video, mostly on Youtube, the audio slowly loses sync and comes before the video. It starts off fine and slowly gets worse and worse. Pausing or refreshing fixes it for a little while before if loses sync again.

The other issue is that audio started crackling and popping on both speakers and headphones. This is what DPC Latency Checker looks like while listening to a song : https://i.imgur.com/mWyoqil.png
It seems that the bar goes yellow whenever there is a crackle n the audio.

I've tried: updating drivers
reinstalling audio drivers
disabling extensions in chrome
restarting pc multiple times
disabling audio enhancements

CPU and GPU usage and temps seem fine

I don't have another set of speakers to try but when listening to the same piece of audio on headphones on both pc and phone, the crackling only occurs on the pc.

Specs:
Intel i5 6000k @ 4.3Ghz
MSI GTX 1060 @2Ghz
Genius GX Gaming Speakers - SW-G2.1 1250
Z170 Pro Gaming MOBO

I am far from a computer expert so any help is appreciated, thanks!

You're not only one with exact same issues. Been looking for solution over 2-3 weeks without success. Okay anyways, which version of Nvidia drivers are you using?

Hi, sorry for the late reply. As for the drivers, the graphics driver is version 23.21.13.8813 and the audio driver is 1.3.35.1
