Can a moderator remove the tracking feature within a closed thread?

It's easy to remove e-mail tracking with an open thread. However when a thread is closed we can still see the tracked thread within our Tracked Threads list(click dropdown arrow next to name and then click Tracked Threads). Obviously a closed thread can't be altered by members so the closed thread would forever be on a tracking list. It may be a bit of OCD wanting to remove that closed thread from a tracking list but we should have that choice. Can we or mods do anything about that?

Since no new posts can be added to a closed thread, there could be no future email notifications on that thread so it should be a non-issue. If the thread were ever to be re-opened and you received a notification, you could then go and unsubscribe from the thread at that time. Rarely are threads ever reopened though. It would not be likely for us to do anything on those, there are way too many other actual problems to address to worry about a non-issue like that.

I understand your concern, but that's gonna be a no.
