encyrpt option to protect folder not available

I am hoping to encrypt a folder on windows 10. I have opened properties, general tab, advance option but the encrypt option is 'greyed out' . How can I get it to be available please?

    Are you using the Home or Pro edition? If Home, folder encryption is not available with that version.

  2. I have Windows 10 home premium 64bit, i use Microsoft's Bitlocker.

    I have the home edition and are able to do it.

    Do you have a TPM chip built into your motherboard?

    Seeing as Microsoft specifically says that BitLocker is not available in Win 10 Home, I'd be interested in exactly how you did that.
