I was just wondering what would happen if I buy a game from microsoft store on a not genuine windows 10. Will it detect that my windows is cracked?

Solution

Cracked and not yet activated are not the same thing. See above in red.

By "not genuine", are you talking about Windows 10 that is not activated? If you are running windows 10 and it is not activated, then you will have no issues with buying and playing games from the Microsoft store.

I'm not sure why anyone would even need to crack Windows 10, you can use it for free for awhile (not sure how long it lasts). A friend of mine has yet to activate Windows 10 and it's been a couple of months without getting the watermark/notifications.

I have a Win 10 Pro installed in a VirtualBox VM, to test exactly this.
It is 3 weeks shy of one year, Unactivated.
Runs just like it did on day 1.

It does have the watermark at times, but thats what it does.
