I presently have a D-Link usb wifi adapter. Whenever I wake my desktop from sleep mode, I have to run the troubleshooter to reconnect to the wifi. This is a pain in the butt. I'm looking at a Linksys AE6000 usb wifi adapter. Do you think this will solve my connection problem? The Linksys is supposed to be the best usb wifi adapter. Or, should I look into an internal wifi adapter? Thanks!

The only downside of usb adapter is power consumption (max 5W, if you use higher antenna=more resistance, wear of usb pins) , voltage drops ( if you have many usb devices connected, as well of wear), and probably most common undeveloped drivers(tp link 7**n,8**n) PCIE you always get full power (max 75W) and better drivers (not all).

PS. I may be wrong about some specs.
