Hey everyone I need help buying a monitor for gaming. I am looking for one that supports 144hz at 1080p.
My price range would be between $100-$350. Brands don't matter to me as long as the monitor itself is good.

I also don't know what cable to use to achieve 144hz.
I used my TV and am looking to buy a proper monitor now.

I am using a GeForce GTX 1070 Ti
Along with a Intel i7 8700k 3.7 if this helps

Display Port cable is used for 144Hz. Most 144Hz monitors come with a display port cable.

This monitor even has G-Sync. But if you don't care about G-Sync there are some other 144Hz monitors for less. I've never used it, I wish I have so I could comment. I have 144Hz monitor, a cheap one. I kinda wish I had this monitor though.

Monitor: Acer - XB241H bmipr 24.0" 1920x1080 180Hz Monitor ($321.88 @ Amazon)
Total: $321.88
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available
