Hello im building a new PC and there are some things i didn't really got an answer to!
My Pc will be used for gaming purpose only and i'm stuck choosing between some parts(i'm trying to diminush the cost as much as possible but without loosing too much performance):
pcu : I5 8600 k vs i7 8700 vs i7 8700 k ( my first choise was i5 8600 k then a friend told me if i was to OC it i will feel the cost of energy rising, than i considered the i7's, i would choose i7 8700 over 8700 k if the gaming performance is not lower than 10- 15 % considering i have 1080 Ti as GPU)
MB: Aorus z370 Ultra gaming vs Aorus z 370 Gaming 5 ( i don't understand the difference between these 2 except the fact that gaming 5 have 3 slots M2 and soud blaster, please if someone can explain !? )
Ramm : ddr4 2666 Mhz vs 3000 mhz vs 3200 mhz (please someone explain w is the difference in gaming performance )
Thank you !

For gaming the 8600k is the better chip, slightly. Yes it uses more power its still going to be about half of any GPU.

With motherboard its basically just features, a 100 dollar motherboard is just as fast a 300 one. Just buy the one that has the features, layout, aesthetics, etc you want. I like the 150ish range motherboards the best.

For ram depending on the price difference past 3000 mhz you see very little performance gain. Then again even from 2133mhz RAM its only a matter of a few FPS at most.

As your budget come in your way i recommended you to buy i7 8700 and Aorus z 370 Gaming 5 because it has more features than Aorus z370 Ultra gaming like more realastic sound quality ,inbuilt wireless and all other stuff. For ram i would like to say there is very little performance difference between a 3000MHz and 3200MHz Ram so you can install any one.Everything is majorly depend upon Graphic card.
