Dear Tomshardware community,

I got a BSOD today after updating my anti-virus software saying Critical Structure Corruption. After the restart, I restored my Google Chrome tabs but was interrupted by another restart (no blue screen this second time).
The specs of my pc:

Processor: Intel Core i7-6700K
Mem: 4x G.Skill RipJaws 8GB DDR4 2800M
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080
MB: ASUS Maximus IX Hero
System: Windows 10 Home 64-bit

I have uploaded the minidump here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/39u73hqg3wczs83/112717-6500-01.dmp?dl=0

I haven't had a second iteration of this BSOD yet, but judging by the stuff I see on the interwebs I'd rather still check what the matter is/was.
So I was wondering if anyone could check out and interpret the dump file to help me figure out what's up.

Thanks a mill!

EDIT: I have run one memtest and that came out clean. I've also performed a full scan via my antivirus, also clean. Not sure whether that helps.

Hi, Colif asked me to take a look at the dump file for you. I ran the file through the debugger and got the following information: https://pste.eu/p/BEN7.html

File: 112717-6500-01.dmp (Nov 27 2017 - 18:40:34)
BugCheck: [CRITICAL_STRUCTURE_CORRUPTION (109)]
Probably caused by: Unknown_Image (Process: System)
Uptime: 0 Day(s), 0 Hour(s), 04 Min(s), and 18 Sec(s)

I can't help you with this. Wait for someone else to reply. Good luck.

Hi PaulNZ,
I could try this, but then I'm short a virus scanner. Is it really the case that Kaspersky is incompatible with the new Windows 10? That would be very... unfortunate.

No problem, thanks for trying.
