I recently decided to get a new monitor, I was looking at 60hz monitors but figured maybe I should get a 144hz monitor since I can maintain 100+ fps in the games I play. looking for something $300-$350CDN.
I was first looking at the usual suspects VG248QE and XL2411, and decided on the Asus but after reading that the PWM can give people headaches, I decided to keep looking.
Now my main considerations are the Viewsonic XG2401 and the LG 24MG79. I am leaning towards the LG however I was wondering what "Backlight Strobing" is. Is this the same as PWM as found in the VG248QE?
FYI. My GPU is a 1060 so even though it has Freesync, it will not be used. The 24MG77 isn't available to buy otherwise I would have been looking at that one instead.
