The situation:
When I play any 3D game on Windows 10, after a while it will freeze. Sometimes it will only be 5 minutes before the freeze, other times over an hour (usually no more than 2, though). When the freeze happens, the game audio still plays and I can move my mouse, but I cannot change the focused window. Pressing the windows key will pull up the windows menu but opening a program from it does nothing. Pressing alt-tab will not change the window (even though it looks like it's about to).

So far to fix this I have tried:
Resetting Windows
Uninstalling and reinstalling AMD drivers (both using DDU and using AMD's own uninstaller)
Sending my GPU to Gigabyte (they said they didn't find anything wrong with it)
Various other minor fixes, none of which worked.

The temperatures and wattages are safe. Strange thing is, I tried playing on integrated graphics and had the same issue.

If anyone has any suggestions for how to fix this, please let me know. The issue has been plaguing me for months.

I believe I have figured out the issue, it involved Intel Turbo Boost. I have turned it off and so far no crashes. Will update if they continue to occur.
