I bought a new 144hz 1 ms monitor but when I do a motion test I get only 60 fps my computer is connected by an HDMI cable IDK which type but it just gives me 60hz. And are there any other 144hz display cables other than displayport?
And how can I try the 144hz experience.

Solution
HDMI does not support 144hz.

To my knowledge, the only other option is Dual Link DVI (DVI-D), which is what I use.

Also, when you do get a cable that can support 144hz, you must follow these steps to enable it in windows:
1) Right click your desktop
2) Click on "Display Settings"
3) Click on "Display Adapter Properties"
4) Click on the monitor tab.
5) Set the refresh rate to 144hz :)))

Hope this helped!
