Hi everyone, I'm struggling with a pc assembled by me years ago. I had windows 10 and never had big problems, until 2 weeks ago when the computer started freezing completely forcing me to restart it every half an hour. Only sometimes the blue screen comes out with the error "whea uncorrectable error". I have also seen the dump file and it gives 0x00000124 error. I searched everywhere on the internet and I read that it is probably a hardware problem ... but here comes the strange thing ... I installed elementary os formatting the whole hdd and works without crashing and without any kind of problem (left the pc on for 48 hours in a row and never freezed). So I decided to reinstall windows 10 in dual boot but always returns the same problem, so I tried both windows 7 and windows 8.1 but still the same problem .... can you help me ?? I have already reset and updated the bios, overclocked and reset the CPU (i3-550), tried to use old drivers for each device including the video card (ati hd5750), changed 2 banks of 4 gb of ram and put a new thermal paste on the cpu (the temperatures are under control every time and when the pc freezes are always optimal).
Please help me!! this is the dump text ==================================================

ok it says: health 80%
In this disk there are 3 sectors ruined. Data from these sectors have been repositioned on a reserve area.
There were problems during the disk spin up. This can happen due to the disc itself or overvoltage (check the power supply).
what should i do?

for sure but then why with linux i have no problem at all?? that's what i don't understand!! however thanks for the help man ;)

Linux has a better data management then windows. Any UNIX system has better management system good examples are ubuntu and macOS they both have very very good data management (one of the proofs is that they dont need defragmentation software).
